The Ashe County JV and Varsity volleyball teams traveled to the Wilkes Central Eagles on Thursday, September 4. The JV team dropped a close match, 2 games to 1. The Varsity team won their first match of the season, by beating the Eagles 3 games to 1. The teams will be back in action on Monday, September 8 home against non-conference rival, West Wilkes Blackhawks.
